The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is a statutory body established under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 for regulating the profession of Chartered Accountants in India.
ICAI is the second largest accounting body in the world and the largest accounting and finance body in India with a strong tradition of service to the Indian economy in public interest. The Institute, headquartered in New Delhi, has regional councils and branches located in major cities throughout the country.
